A companion to Pocketful of Sunshine, this small piece gathers a handful of warm blooms in apricot, marmalade orange and soft coral red, each lit with a touch of gold at the center. Some open wide like tulips, others stay rounded and close. Long green stems arc out and trail down around a plain white bowl, which sits on a sturdy little stool in deep brown. The pale aqua ground keeps everything fresh and airy. It's a painting about the small sweet things that brighten a day, the ones you savor a spoonful at a time.
